About FNF Baddies

Developer: Cxasanova

Not Your Typical FNF Week

Most Friday Night Funkin' mods start with somebody wanting a rap battle. FNF Baddies goes in a different direction. Boyfriend and Girlfriend arrive in New York expecting a normal trip, only to get pulled into situations that become stranger with every song. Between unwanted attention, street drama, and people hiding their true intentions, the pair quickly realize they're in over their heads. The mod spends more time building its characters than many other FNF projects, which helps the story feel connected from one battle to the next.

Faces You'll Remember

Stephanie Crawford, better known among fans as Stalker Girl, steals plenty of attention whenever she appears. Her fixation on Boyfriend creates some of the mod's most uncomfortable and memorable moments. On the other side is Lucy Zang, an undercover officer whose presence adds another layer of mystery to the story. Neither character feels like a simple obstacle. Their personalities are woven into the dialogue, cutscenes, and songs.

Keeping Up With the Music

The gameplay follows the familiar FNF formula. Notes travel across the screen and must be matched using the Arrow Keys or WASD. Early songs are manageable, but later charts demand much quicker reactions.

Several tracks introduce extra twists. Certain notes punish mistakes more heavily, while visual effects can make it harder to read incoming patterns. There are moments where staying calm matters just as much as having fast fingers.

What Playing It Actually Feels Like

The first thing many players notice is how much happens between songs. One minute you're watching a conversation unfold, and the next you're thrown into a chart that's noticeably harder than the last one. That constant change of pace keeps the mod interesting.

Even after finishing the story, many players return for individual songs because the soundtrack, characters, and New York setting give the mod a personality that stands apart from countless other FNF releases.
