About FNF: The Date Week
Developer: Nate Anim8
FNF: The Date Week is one of those rare Friday Night Funkin' mods that doesn't rely on difficult charts or over-the-top drama to leave an impression. Instead, it tells a simple story about Whitty trying to spend a good day with Carol. What starts as a small idea becomes one of the most memorable experiences in the FNF community.
A Different Side of Whitty

Most players know Whitty as the explosive rockstar with a short temper. Here, he's completely out of his comfort zone. Throughout the date, he worries about saying the wrong thing, making mistakes, or ruining the moment. Carol's friendly and relaxed personality helps keep things moving, creating plenty of funny and wholesome interactions. Their conversations are just as important as the music, giving the mod a very different feel from a typical FNF release.
Music That Fits the Story
The three main songs each represent a stage of the date. Whitroll starts things off with an upbeat and slightly awkward energy. Perfume feels calmer and more personal, while Heartbass serves as the emotional highlight of the evening. Rather than sounding like musical duels, the tracks feel like two people connecting through music.
Every Note Matters
The gameplay follows the classic formula. Hit arrows as they reach their targets and maintain your rhythm. The twist is that your performance affects the outcome of the story. Strong accuracy helps Whitty keep his confidence and leads toward the Good Ending. Too many mistakes can make him panic, resulting in a less successful date and a different ending.
