FNF Nocturnal Protocol Starts Quietly, Then Refuses to Let You Relax
FNF Nocturnal Protocol takes inspiration from the Myths of Tubbyland and Slendytubbies universe, but it doesn't feel like another horror skin pasted onto Friday Night Funkin'. The stage is dark, the music is uneasy, and the Guardian immediately becomes the center of attention. Instead of taunting you with dialogue, the creature creates tension simply by standing there, waiting for the song to begin. If you've ever heard the haunting whistle from classic Slendytubbies videos, you'll probably recognize the reference almost immediately.
The Guardian Doesn't Give You Much Breathing Room
The entire mod revolves around a single featured song, Nocturnal Protocol, and that's all it really needs. The beat starts under control, but it doesn't stay that way for long. The chart grows busier, the Guardian's animations become more aggressive, and flashing effects make the encounter feel increasingly dangerous without making it unfair. Rather than throwing random surprises at the player, the difficulty builds naturally alongside the music.
